ABOUT
International Human Rights Jurist
For more than two decades, I have dedicated myself to helping others by confronting injustice, defending rights and turning ideas into action to bring about change.
My work spans law, human rights, justice, governance and institutional change across a wide range of sectors. I have advised governments, international organizations, civil society and individuals on complex issues, legal and policy reform, access to justice, institutional strengthening and strategies for change, while building and leading initiatives to address specific challenges and create new possibilities. Alongside this, I support people in defending their rights and provide pro bono strategic and legal support to persons who have been wrongfully convicted in the United States or arbitrarily detained in Asia.
At the heart of my work is understanding what needs to change and developing the strategy to make it happen. I bring a global, multi-dimensional perspective to every issue and case I work on. I examine problems from different angles - questioning assumptions and accepted narratives, seeing connections and possibilities that others may overlook.
Through my work and life of service, I also want to inspire and help others to make a difference.
I hold a Master’s degree in Law and an LL.M. in Human Rights and Democratization.
