The landscape formed over thousands of years. A silent witness to many historic battles and events. From the bogged peat of the glen to the barren hills of the highlands. Every scene last just a brief couple of seconds before the subtle dance between light and shadow completely changes the mood and feel of the place. No moment is ever the same. It never tires. Instead I keep returning to this remote and rugged corner of Europe revisiting places where I have come since I was a child as well as discovering new places.
